Safety was the focus of the Manawa Kid’s Bike Rodeo on Saturday, May 18.
Manawa police officers covered rules of the road and safe bike operation. Safety helmets for children, water bottles and other items were distributed to participants.
The facilities were provided by the Manawa Masonic Lodge.
Scott Bickley from Little Wolf Auto provided mechanical checks on the bikes.
The event coincided with Manawa School District’s Bike/Walk Week commencing May 20 as part of the “Safe Routes to School” program.
