Wohlt, Delores Ann

Delores Ann Wohlt, age 82, of Weyauwega, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013 at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King of Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born on December 7, 1930 in New London, daughter of the late Wallace and Merna (Bork) Frost. On March 1, 1949, she was united in marriage to Leland “Butch” Wohlt in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He preceded her in death in 1992. Delores was the owner and operator of Delores’ Corner Bar in Weyauwega from 1967 to 1987. She enjoyed her dog (Patches), music, ceramics, bowling, and especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her three daughters: Debbie (Dick) Meidl, Lynn (Dennis) Gerlach, all of Weyauwega; Lisa (Jeff) Maldwin, Oshkosh; three sons: Lee (Jane) Wohlt, Fremont; Bryan Wohlt, Todd (Cindi) Wohlt, all of Weyauwega; seven grandchildren: Corey (Norene) Meidl, Ryan (Wendi) Gerlach and their children Hugh and Cole, Jared Meidl, Jason Meidl and his son Aiden, Ty (Jamie) Wohlt and their children Hailey and Kiley, Alex Maldwin and Milena Maldwin; two sisters: Claudette Looker, Susan (Cal Howlett) Langdon, both of Fremont; sister-in-law Luella Frost, Clintonville; brother-in-law Loyal Marquardt, New London. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas and Willard Frost, and her grandson Michael Wohlt and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

The funeral service for Delores will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Chaplain Wayne Schwanke of Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A visitation for Delores will be held directly at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
