Summer concerts return to Main Street

The Waupaca City Band performs at 7 p.m. Fridays throughout June and July on the bandstand in downtown Waupaca.

Under the direction of Mark Kryshak, the group carries on the tradition of summer band concerts begun in 1887. It is one of the oldest city bands in Wisconsin.

The concerts are free of charge, open to the public and include a weekly Children’s March around the bandstand.

Audience members provide their own seating and in the event of rain the program will be moved to Waupaca High School ,located at the intersection of State Highway 22 and King Road.
