County E project planned

A public meeting on a County Road E construction project is slated for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Spencer Lake Christian Center.

The meeting will take place in the lower level of the center’s main dining hall at N1385 County E.

Representatives from the Waupaca County Highway Department and the project’s engineering firm will be on hand to explain the project and answer questions.

The County E project will extend from the Waushara County line to High Point Ridge Road.

Existing pavement will be pulverized and new asphalt will be placed over the pulverized material.

Some new grading for widening the intersections is planned. Many of the existing intersections will be reconstructed with right turn lanes, and the intersection at Lind Center Road will be realigned to a 90 degree intersection.

The road will be open to traffic during construction.

The project is being designed by MSA Professional Services Inc. Construction is currently planned for 2014.

People with information regarding privately owned utilities or structures that encroach into the highway right-of-way in the project area are encouraged to attend this meeting or provide comments.

Questions concerning the meeting can be directed to MSA project manager Quirin Klink at 608-355-8890.
