Peggy J. Dostalek, 55, Clintonville, was charged with a fifth drunken driving offense.
Shortly after 4 p.m. May 8, Clintonville Police Officer Adam Miler was dispatched to search for a red Chrysler. Marion police said the female driver was wanted for questioning in a bar fight.
Miller saw a vehicle matching the description from Marion pull into the parking lot of an apartment complex. He followed the car into the parking lot and walked over to speak with the driver.
After noting that the driver, identified as Dostalek, had cuts on her face and smelled of alcohol, Miller conducted field sobriety tests, then took her to a New London hospital for a blood draw.
According to the criminal complaint, Dostalek had a 0.156 blood-alcohol level.
