Historical society to hold annual meeting

The Rural Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at its headquarters in the village.

The meeting will begin with a potluck supper.

A business meeting and review of the past year will follow the supper.

The program for the evening will feature the description and dedication of the new Little Free Library. It is located on the front lawn of the headquarters building.

An introduction to the Little Free Library and an explanation of its purpose and use will be given by Robert Benada.

Those who attend are invited to bring a book to donate to initiate the library.

The public is invited to the supper, meeting and program.

The Rural Historical Society’s headquarters is located on Main Street in the village of Rural, about five miles south of Waupaca, just off of State Highway 22.
