Malliet, Marcella E.

Marcella E. Malliet, age 74 years, of Shawano (formerly Clintonville) passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Appleton Medical Center.

The former Marcella Elaine LeNoble was born October 7, 1938 in the Town of Matteson, Waupaca County, to William and Imogene (Geer) LeNoble. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1956 and was united in marriage on March 2, 1957 to Loy L. Malliet at St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. Marcella worked at various businesses in Clintonville over the years, including; Converting Inc., Kindred Hearts, and Jerry & Pat’s Cafe. She was also employed for some time at the Shell Gas Station and in the bakery at Econofoods, both in Clintonville. Her husband preceded her in death on November 3, 1990 and she settled in Shawano in the early 2000’s. For the past eight years, Marcella was working as a cashier at Menominee Casino-Bingo, Keshena. She is a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. Marcella enjoyed puzzle books, word searches, playing the slot machines, and spending time in her flower or vegetable garden. She especially loved being a homemaker and raising her family.

Survivors include six children: Susan (Rollie) Schuelke of Clintonville, Kathleen Malliet of Houston, TX, Wayne (Susan) Malliet of Shawano, Steven (Kim) Malliet of New London, Tina (Kenny) Moore of Nanjemoy, MD, and Brian (fiancee Debby Berg) Malliet of Armstrong Creek. There are seven grandchildren: Sarah (Trey) Helms, Justin (Jacki), Kyle (Dawn), Lindsey, Rachel, Benjamin, and Karelyn Malliet. There are two great grandsons, Hunter and Nathan Helms. There are eight siblings: Rogene (Earl) Wussow of Cecil, Carl LeNoble of Clintonville, Victor (Sue) LeNoble of Gresham, Judith (Larry) Wudstrack-Stelzer of Green Bay, Theresa Bork of Weyauwega, Michael LeNoble of Houston, TX, Deborah (significant other Mark Wenzelow) Newlun of Weyauwega, and Nancy (Tom) Young of Clintonville. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Marcella is preceded in death by her husband, Loy, an infant son, William, an infant sister, Rita, a brother, James LeNoble, and three brothers-in-law, Lawrence Wudstrack, Walter Newlun, and Arlynn “Jack” Bork.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 24th at 11:00 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. Fr. John “Jack” Mullarkey will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
