Fietsch, Robert T.

Robert “Bob” T. Fietsch, age 37 of Clintonville, entered eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Saturday evening, August 3, 2013 following a drowning accident in the Town of Dunbar, Marinette County, WI.

Bob was born on February 23, 1976 in Hinsdale, IL as the son of Virginia (Marek) Fietsch and the late John “Jack” Fietsch. He grew up in Clintonville where he graduated from high school in 1994. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration from UW Eau Claire and was currently schooling for a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He worked as an administrator for health care facilities in Oconto, Green Bay, Embarrass, and was currently the Executive Director at St. Joseph Residence in New London. He was united in marriage to Tara Huset in Chetek, WI on June 13, 1998. The couple lived in various places and moved to Clintonville in 2000. Bob was a member of the St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville for many years where he also attended grade school. He was a past member of the Clintonville Lions Club and a past president and current member of the New London Rotary Club. Bob had a unique personality, great sense of humor, and worked very hard. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking. He adored his 3 boys, and loved any activity that included time spent with them.

Survivors include: his wife, Tara Fietsch, Clintonville; his 3 sons: Max, Zeke, and Thayer, Clintonville; his mother, Virginia Fietsch, Clintonville; 3 brothers: David (Tracey) Fietsch, Indianapolis, IN and their children, Owen and Meredith; John (Tami Hooyman) Fietsch, Kaukauna; and Thomas (Reena) Fietsch, San Francisco, CA. Bob was preceded in death by his father John “Jack” and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 2 PM at the St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Daniel Burns officiating. Friends may call at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville from 4 – 7 PM Friday and at the church on Saturday from 1 PM until the time of the service. Bob’s family would like to give special thanks to Rev. Roberta Thomson and Rev. Daniel Burns for their prayers and being there for them during this difficult time.
