Terrie L. Bucholtz, 49, Amherst, was charged with 12 counts of forgery uttering.
She is accused of taking more than 20 checks from her daughter and cashing 12 of them at bars, restaurants and convenience stores in the Waupaca area.
According to the criminal complaint, Bucholtz told investigators she used the checks to spend nearly $500 on gas, drinks, cigarettes, food and gambling machines.
