Children?s programs begin in October

Babygarten will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 and 9, at the Weyauwega Public Library.

The program is for children age 2 and under, but all ages are welcome.

At 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, Rhyme Time will be held.

It is for children ages 3 to 5, with all ages again welcome.

The programs are a joint effort of Traci Zietlow, the 4K teacher in the Weyauwega-Fremont School District, and Kelly Kneisler, the children’s librarian.

Babygarten includes songs, rhymes, moving to music and simple crafts.

During Rhyme Time, children learn nursery rhymes through movement, music, drama and crafts.

The library also offers story time on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

The progeram includes activities for children of all ages.

Siblings who do not fall into one of the specified age groups of the programs may attend.

The programs are also a way for caregivers to meet and socialize.

The library’s annual book sale ended on Saturday, Sept. 21, and the staff appreciates all who suppored the sale.
