Scott W. Trepanier, 46, Bonduel, was charged with a sixth offense of operating under the influence.
Shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Deputy Bryan Strobusch was westbound on U.S. Highway 10 when he noticed a vehicle ahead of him that appeared to be over the fog line.
Strobusch caught up with the 2001 Cadillac and noticed that it was drifting back and forth from over the fog line to over the center line. He pulled it over just east of the Churchill Street exit in Waupaca.
The deputy identified the driver as Trepanier, who is restricted to a 0.02 blood-alcohol level due to five prior drunken driving convictions.
A preliminary breath test indicated that Trepanier had a 0.09 blood-alcohol level.
Trepanier’s prior drunken driving convictions were in October 1989, July 1994, July 1998, January 2003 and January 2004.
