Donkey basketball set for Nov. 3

The Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Weyauwega-Fremont Old Middle School.

Local players will ride donkeys and play basketball at the same time.

The first game will be “Music Students” versus “Student Leaders,” and the second game will be “Those That Teach” versus “Those That Learn.”

Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door.

Advance tickets may be purchased from members of the W-F Music Department, at the high school office or by contacting DeAnna Volz at 920-867-4735.

Tickets will be available at the door, if space is available.

During intermission, there will be free donkey rides for the first 125 children age 12 and under with the purchase of a ticket.

The show is being sponsored by the W-F Music Department. The proceeds will benefit the Music Department students who are going to New York City next spring.

The old middle school is located on Main Street in Weyauwega.
