Waupaca woman charged with ID theft

Mandalenichen G. Parascand, 29, Waupaca, was charged with misappropriation of ID to obtain money.

On July 22, Deputy Nick Traeger met with the grandmother of Parascand’s child. She told him Parascand was living with her because she was estranged from her parents and had trouble maintaining employment, according to the criminal complaint.

The grandmother reportedly said she and her husband told Parascand to come to them if she needed financial help, but that they would not tolerate stealing.

Parascand allegedly used her grandmother’s credit card to make 14 unauthorized transactions between January and May.

Parascand was charged with three counts of forgery uttering in September 2011 and with disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping in July 2012. Those cases are still pending.
