Jane A. Smith, age 69, of Waupaca entered her eternal life with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Lakeview Manor with her son, John, and her daughter, Mary, by her side and her son, Jerry, in spirit.
Jane was born on November 15, 1943 in Hastings, Nebraska and was the child of Jeanette (Oglesby) Dutka and Carl P. Kintzle. She married Jerry Smith on July 14, 1959 and together they had six children. Jane was a loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and pets. She found a great family within Victory Church where she developed her deep sense of faith.
Jane is survived by her children: Jerry (Marina) Smith, Jr. of Cottage Grove, OR; Mary (Rick) Bennett of Oxford, WI; Joe Smith of Bolivia, NC; John Smith of Oxford, WI; nine grandchildren: Dustin (Victoria) Bennett, Cariee (Derek) Gibson, Richard Bennett, Shane (Emily) Smith, Zachariah Smith, Vicky Ramsden, Candance Smith, Jessica Smith, and Jennifer Smith; six great-grandchildren: Ayva, Gabriel, Joy, Logan, Nora, and Teague; one sister: Judy Dutka; and one brother: Mike Kintzle. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Carl P. Kintzle and Jeanette Dutka; two sons, Jessie Smith and Jay Smith; and a great-grandson, Keegan Bennett. Please remember our mother, grandmother, sister, companion and friend with love. She will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Victory Church in Waupaca, WI. Pastor Adin Crandall will officiate. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
