Clintonville Motors plans expansion

Clintonville Motors Inc., a Ford dealership, plans to build a new 20,000-square-foot facility on the south side of Clintonville.

The dealership will be on a five-acre plot at 670 S. Main Street, south of Fleet Farm on State Highway 45.

The new Ford dealership will have 12 service bays, a body shop, service drive, complete parts department, large indoor showroom with offices and comfortable customer lounge.

“Our present location has served us well for the past 72 years, but we have outgrown our current lot and building,” said Ron Kautz, President of Clintonville Motors. “We feel our new location will give us better access and visibility from Highway 45, plus more parking and lot space to display our new and pre-owned vehicles.”

With the closing and resulting reduction of Ford dealerships in the past 20 years in the area – including Waupaca, Shawano, Mosinee, Wittenberg, Weyauwega, Manawa and Pulaski – Clintonville Motors has persevered, and has seen an increase in service and sales in the area, making them the largest Ford dealer in Waupaca and Shawano counties the past few years.

Excavating began last week on the new location to prepare the site for construction to begin in the spring of 2014, with completion targeted for fall of 2014.

Ron, Gary and Ryon Kautz, owners of Clintonville Motors, as well as their employees, remind everyone that they are still open at their current location, 27 W. 12th St., as they have been since 1941 and will continue to service vehicles at this location.
