Share-A-Tea features music, elegance

A group of 112 guests attended this year’s Share-A-Tea Saturday, Nov. 2.

The Iola-Scandinavia High School commons area was converted into an elegant tea room for the “Nutcracker Snowflake Tea.”

Profits for the event totaled $3.342. The money will go into funds in the elementary and middle/high school, designated for students in need within the district.

This year’s program included music by harpist Carol Rollefson and piano selections by John Turba, I-S choral director. Travis Bassett served as master of ceremonies.

High school students assisted with food service and with much of the background work necessary for an event of this size.

Several businesses, organizations and individuals donated to this event.

Share-A-Tea Committee members included Sherry Medrow, Wanda Draeger, Maggie Jones, Barb Flees, Lynn Rasmussen, Mary Jo Gerhardt, Nancy Camber, Andrea Dyb, Toya Lund and Ila Sanders.
