David J. Nolan, 53, Marion, was charged with a sixth drunken driving offense.
At approximately 10:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, dispatch advised Marion Police Officer Eric Krause of a possible intoxicated driver heading home from a Clintonville bar. Krause went to the intersection of Quarterline Road and Main Street and waited for the vehicle.
When he saw the vehicle roll through a stop sign, Krause activated his emergency lights, then followed the vehicle until it turned into a driveway. The driver was identified as Nolan.
According to the criminal complaint, a preliminary breathalyzer test indicated Nolan had a 0.17 blood-alcohol level.
