The gym at Christ Lutheran School was once again transformed into a space for making Christmas gifts and crafts when Grandparent’s Workshop Day was held.
The all-day event was held on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the school, which is located in West Bloomfield.
Chantel Mundschau coordinated the various craft making activities.
This year, that included melty beads, a wooden angel, an Advent countdown to Christmas calendar, a music page scroll, fleece blankets for charity, snowmen measuring sticks, cookie in a jar mix and a wooden ornament.
Grandparent’s Workshop Day has been held at the school for more than 20 years.
The day always begins with breakfast for the grandparents.
In between the workshop time, students provided a bit of entertainment. A soup luncheon was also held.
The event is among the highlights of the school’s Christmas season.
