Intoxicated man with gun arrested in Clintonville

Clintonville police were called to a downtown tavern after receiving a report of an intoxicated man with a gun at 11:55 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13,

Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect had fled the area, but returned a short time later. A 9 mm semi-automatic handgun and two pistol magazines were recovered at the scene.

Police arrested Jeremiah J. Ogurek, 35, Bear Creek, after obtaining additional information from the bartender and witnesses at the scene.

Ogurek is currently being held on a $3,000 cash bond on pending charges of going armed while intoxicated, carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm and disorderly conduct.
