The Clintonville Fire Department responded to a fire at N8959 U.S. Highway 45, near the intersection of Bear Creek and Deer Creek roads, at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30.
Firefighters found a barn fully engulfed in flames.
Crews battled extreme cold weather along with icy roads from trucks hauling water. The Clintonville Fire Department was assisted by the Bear Creek, Marion, Manawa, and Embarrass Fire Departments and the Clintonville Area Ambulance Service.
