The Wisconsin Workers 4-H Club lit up the Lights of Love tree on Dec. 8 in the Triangle Park in Manawa.
Community members purchased star lights in memory or in honor of their loved ones for the holiday season.
A tree lighting and reading of the names ceremony took place. There was a great turnout for the first year.
The names were read aloud and if family members were there they were able to tie on a name tag to a star.
The star tree topper was donated by John Dahlke of Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa.
The money raised goes to help the 4-H club with trips and other educational opportunities.
