Those in Congress get government insurance

Do you know who Lisa Jackson is? You helped pay for a $38,350 oil portrait of her. She was the head of the EPA.

The House of Representatives has 286 oil portraits of its members, including Dan Rostenkowski, who went from Congress to prison for mail fraud.

The ruling elite in Congress now get $900 per month to help pay for their ObamaCare insurance.

Of course, they only make $174,000 per year; we shouldn’t expect them to pay for insurance.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg passed away, so his fellow crooks want to follow the Capitol Hill tradition and give his widow a gift of taxpayer money in the amount of $174,000.

It’s “tradition” to make this “gift” of taxpayer money, after all. Never mind his widow will get his estate estimated at $57 million.

During the recent government shutdown, Republicans tried to win a concession that Congress and (the) president’s staff had to pay their own insurance costs. Democrats said no.
