The Pacelli Cardinals scored early and often on their way to an 81-21 victory over Manawa, Friday, Jan. 10.
Pacelli wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, scoring 21 points in the first quarter. Manawa mustered six points in the first quarter.
It was more of the same in the second quarter, as Pacelli continued to put the ball in the basket to the tune of 27 points. Manawa again scored six points. When the teams headed to the locker room at halftime, the score was 48-12.
Regrouping at halftime didn’t change anything with Pacelli scoring 22 points in the third quarter, while Manawa scored just five points. Throw in another 11 points for Pacelli in the fourth quarter, with only four points for Manawa, and Pacelli soared to a convincing win.
Matt Radloff led Manawa with eight points. David Blum and Luke Wilz each chipped in with six points.
Isaac Elliott led Pacelli with 34 points.
Manawa hosts Shiocton, Friday, Jan. 17.
