Clintonville teen completes Eagle Scout project

Dustin Didier is one step closer toward finishing his journey to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

His leadership service project was to plan and oversee the removal of old cement steps and the construction of a wooden stairway with railings from the Clintonville Moose Lodge to the Pigeon Pond.

Didier’s Eagle Board of Review took place at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Appleton on Thursday, Jan. 16.

Dustin completed all of the requirements for the Rank of Eagle Scout in December 2013. He submitted a final workbook of his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project and filled out the application.

On Thursday, Jan. 16, the Board of Review team reviewed all these things and read the six confidential letters of recommendation.

They then interviewed Dustin and found everything was in order.

Dustin will receive his award at a special Court of Honor at a later date.

Dustin is the 17-year-old son of Lynn and Robert Didier of Clintonville.
