The New London Police Department is hosting its first ever “all female” CCW and Basic Protection class called “Gals With Guns” from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Washington Center in New London.
The course will cover concealed carry, women and gun protection, and tips for basic women defense. It will be taught by New London Assistant Chief of Police, Jay Zempel. The cost is $50 for residents and $60 for non-residents. Those interested should preregister at the New London Police Department by Jan. 31.
