Eric M. Kohel, 38, Weston, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
Eric was born June 23, 1975 in Clintonville to Robert and Darlene (Neumeier) Kohel. He was employed by Wausau Tile. He married Jennifer Graham on August 22, 1998 in Wausau. Eric enjoyed camp fires with his kids and watching them in sports.
Eric is survived by his wife, Jennifer; sons, Quintin Mory of Fort Bragg, NC and Ian Kohel of Weston; daughters, Kaylie Kohel and Jordyn Kohel of Weston; his parents, Robert and Darlene of Clintonville; brother Chad (Ali) Kohel of River Falls; sister Amy (Jeremy) Prickette of Clarksville TN; brother-in-law James (Theresa) Graham of Mount Horeb; sister-in-law Jane (Christopher) Jennings of Stevens Point. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Eloise Graham of Davenport, IA and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law James Graham.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston. Rev. Vilas Mazemke will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.
Eric will always be remembered as a man of strong character, a gentle giant, with a great sense of humor. “We will miss you always daddy!
