The city of Waupaca has rescheduled its first strategic planning session.
The first session will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The topic will be “Data Driven for A Stronger Economic Baseline.”
Scheduled to be the facilitators are Dave Thiel, Waupaca County Economic Development Corporation; Eric Fowle, East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission; and Melissa Hunt, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
Current economic data and trends will be presented. The Waupaca Common Council’s view of the community will be the focus of the end of the session.
The first session was originally scheduled for Jan. 14, but was canceled due to the weather.
The other sessions are scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays, March 11, April 8 and May 13.
All four sessions will be held in Meeting Rooms A and B, located in the lower level of the Waupaca Area Public Library.
Over the course of the educational sessions, the city will develop a new Strategic Plan for Economic Development.
The sessions are open to the public.
