Ingersoll to reign over Manawa Snodeo

Haley Ingersoll will reign as queen of the seventh annual Manawa Snodeo, Feb. 14-15.

Ingersoll will be joined by princesses Carlee Zander and Lindsey Marks, and junior princesses Jocelyn Seeger and Taylor Seeger.

The two-day event will feature local and out of the area participants competing in snowmobile, motorcycle and ATV races. Races include a 1.5 mile lakecross course, a 1/3 mile oval track, a 660-foot radar run/ice drags and WKSRA Kitty Kat races.

The event kicks off Friday, Feb. 14 at noon with “Ride with the Vets,” which offers a free luncheon to all veterans followed by a trail ride from 1-3 p.m. Evening activities begin with a torchlight parade and fireworks followed by racing under the lights. Racing action will be highlighted by the Midwest Ice Bike Shootout and oval racing, including vintage racing.

Racing action begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. Featured racing includes lakecross, oval, radar runs, ice drags and WKSRA racing.

The Snodeo is sponsored by ABATE, Fox Valley Technical College and Manawa Lions.
