Naomi M. Myers, age 100, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Bethany Home.
Naomi was born in Minneapolis, KS on June 28, 1913, the daughter of the late Harry and Sylvia (Fleming) Warren. On May 8, 1938, Naomi married Lloyd David Myers in Minneapolis. They moved to Waupaca in 1976. Lloyd preceded her in death on December 29, 2007. She is a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church, a 75 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Riverside Medical Center Auxiliary.
Naomi is survived by: her daughter, Sharie (Thomas) Anderson, Ogdensburg; her son, L David (Aurora) Myers, Onalaska; her four grandchildren: Allison (Bryan) Collins, Kotti (significant other Justin Hintz) Anderson; Megan (Bjorn) Broten and Adam (Tina) Anderson, step grandson Adam (Kristi) Warriner; great grandchildren: Freja Broten, Molly &and Annie Warriner and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Myers, Onalaska. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd, a grandson, Shane Anderson, two brothers and three sisters.
A Family Memorial Service will be held in the spring with interment of cremains in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, Wisconsin. The Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
