Louise A. Reetz of Weyauwega, formerly of Waupaca passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014.
Louise was born on July 11, 1919 in Deerfield Township, Waushara County, daughter of Richard and Alvina (Wedde) Mischka. Louise married Gilbert Reetz on June 23, 1940. The couple moved to Waupaca and raised their family there. Louise was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family.
Louise is survived by three sons: Dennis (special friend Donna Pankow) Reetz, Fremont; Douglas Reetz, Kaukauna; Dallas (Virginia) Reetz, Waupaca; two daughters, Kathleen Neusen, Nekoosa, WI and Karla (fiance′ Scott Jonely) Reetz of Weyauwega, WI; nine grandchildren: Annette, Jason, Adam, Tara, Douglas Jr., Matthew, Ryan, Jessica, Amanda; seventeen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Alvina, her husband Gilbert, one great-granddaughter Tonja, five brothers: Arthur, Walter, Clarence, Herman and Elmer; nine sisters: Adeline, Martha, Leona, Minnie, Mabel, Viola, Tillie, Alice, and Jenny; thee daughters-in-law: Susan, Jean and Nancy.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 1 P.M. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Pastor Al Spitler will officiate, with burial to follow at the Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Lakeview Manor, Weyauwega for the care, compassion and friendship given to Louise during her time at the manor.
