Wisconsin Singers to visit Hortonville

Wisconsin Singers will bring “Hot! Hot! Hot!” to the Hortonville High School Fine Arts Center at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 8

Featuring talented singers, dancers, and instrumentalists from the UW-Madison, the event will open with guest appearances by show choirs from Hortonville Middle School and Greenville Middle School.

“Hot! Hot! Hot!” is written by Robert Dietz (arranger for NBC’s “The Sing Off”) and choreographed by Broadway professionals. The show presents more than 60 songs from hits sung by legends like Ella Fitzgerald and the Beatles to such current pop icons as Maroon 5 and Katy Perry.

The Singers band will rock the house with Earth Wind and Fire, Billy Joel and Santana chart-topping hits. There will also be guest appearances by Peter Pan and Barney.

Badger fans will get the chance to join in during the Singers’ rendition of the Fifth Quarter featuring fans favorites like Tequila! and Varsity.

New London High School graduate, Cera Malueg, will perform with the Singers as a second year sax/clarinet/violin player.

“There is nothing quite like performing for my family and friends,” Malueg said. “I’m so excited to show them how much I have accomplished in my second year as a Wisconsin Singer.”

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and are available by phone at 608-886-6801, online at www.wisconsinsingers.com/hortonville or from any middle school show choir student.
