Drug, firearms charges filed

Drugs and firearms seized during the execution of a search warrant in Waupaca have resulted in felony charges.

Allen L. Taylor, 23, is charged with delivery of a Schedule III drug, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ulysses E. Blue, 40, is charged with felon in possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On March 10, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Deputy Patrick McClone was driving northbound on Oak Street in Waupaca when he saw a southbound vehicle suddenly make a left turn in front of a semitrailer, causing the truck to lock up its brakes. The vehicle parked in a driveway, and the female driver went into the home.

McClone stopped and ran a records check on the vehicle’s registration. It came back that the driver was revoked.

The woman, who had been driving the vehicle, stayed just a few minutes at the house, then left. McClone followed the vehicle to the Oak Street mobile home park.

The driver, who has not been charged at this time, reportedly had 16 pain pills in her purse. She said she purchased the pills from Taylor for $6.50 each, according to the criminal complaint.

Deputies and Waupaca police later executed a search warrant at the Oak Street apartment of Taylor and Blue.

In addition to marijuana and drug paraphernalia, officers reported finding two rifles that belonged to Blue.

Court records indicate Blue has felony convictions from the state of Nevada.
