Paulson, Cynthia Jeness

Cynthia Jeness Paulson, age 61, of Ogdensburg, WI passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2014 at Theda Clark Medical Center after suffering a sudden stroke.

Cynthia was born on December 16, 1952 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Marlene (Brodtmann) Lindemer. On August 14, 1971 she married Donald Offerosky. Three children were born to this marriage. On June 8, 1990 Cynthia was married to Warren L. Paulson.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Warren Paulson, of Ogdensburg, WI; her daughter, Cherry Offerosky of Clintonville, WI; her son, Mike Offerosky of Waupaca, WI; her daughter, Pam Offerosky (Bryan Skonecki) of Milwaukee, WI; her mother, Marlene Lindemer of St. Michael, MN; three sisters, Julie Lindemer (Andy Fiscus) of Florida, Becky (Peter) Koshenina of Albertville, MN and Vicki Reuteler of South St. Paul, MN; two brothers, Steve Lindemer of St. Paul, MN and John (Barbara) Lindemer of White Bear Lake, MN; also step-daughters, Lynne Paulson of Lena, WI and Diane (Ozzie) Nelson of Bloomfield, KY; Donald Offerosky and several nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Bruce Lindemer.

Cynthia worked at Waupaca County Industries in Manawa, WI and most recently, at Bethany Nursing Home and Bethany Pines Assisted Living Facility in Waupaca, WI. She was an ardent advocate for those with disabilities and a dedicated care giver to those in her charge. Cynthia enjoyed music, traveling, nurturing her plants, feeding the birds and shopping for bargains.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Shepherd of the Lakes Church in Waupaca, WI with visitation at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
