Plans for quilt show under way

The Weyauwega Public Library will host a Quilt Show from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, May 30 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31.

Information is available at the library.

Visit the library to sign up to display an item, or to volunteer to help with the event.

For more information, email Edie Zaboj at [email protected] or call her at 920-867-2466.

Church groups, clubs and friends interested in reading a book and then discussing it may receive help with the process, at the library.

Call the library, and a staff member will reserve the number of copies needed.

As long as the book is not a new release, the library is usually able to get copies of a book within a few days.

Those interested in joining an already established group already have two local options.

Book Friends meets at 10 a.m. on the fourth Monday of the month, and Pages Turners meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month.

“Kids & Money” will be presented at the library at 6 p.m. Monday, April 7.

Children of all ages are invited to attend the program, which will include reading books and making a piggy bank out of cardstock.

Those who attend will receive a free book.

People of all ages are also invited to the library’s Pirate Party.

It will be held from 6-7 p.m. Monday, April 21 and will include pirate activities, crafts and refreshments.

For more information about any of the programs, call 920-867-3742. Visit the library’s website at www.wegalibrary.org and “like” it on Facebook.
