Playing alongside her twin sister Mickey, Lexi Roland put up 8.5 points per game during her senior year.
She also helped anchor a tenacious defense that struck fear into opposing teams and led to wide margins of victory throughout most of the regular season and into the WIAA Playoffs.
Lexi’s defense and rebounding (2.6 per game) were a strong point for this year’s team, which rattled off a 14-game winning streak during the season and a wild run to the Sectional Finals, where they lost in overtime to a tough La Crosse Central team.
“Lexi demonstrated excellence both on the floor with her stats and in the classroom,” said Coach Troy Krause.
Roland had 40 assists, 58 steals, seven blocks, 64 rebounds and 213 points in her fantastic senior season. She also earned a First Team All-Bay Conference selection for her efforts this year.
