More than 500 people attended the 2014 Manawa Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19.
Luckily the weather held up, so the event could be held outside the Manawa Masonic Center.
The children hunted for over 3,500 eggs stuffed with candy and prize coupons. There were also prizes of bicycles, scooters, and many more.
Businesses handing out special prizes included: The Store; flowers from Crosscut Solutions Greenhouse; hot chocolate from Sturm Foods; and cupcakes from Eastling Insurance Services.
Other contributions included: Face painting by the Manawa 5th and 6th graders; crafts section by Wisconsin Workers 4-H Club; craft section; and the Manawa PTO sold water and treats to benefit the Jim Ferg Family.
Helpers with the event included Mid-Western Rodeo Queen Katie Ubl, and Jeremiah Johnson as the Easter Bunny.
This community event was only possible through the generous donations of local businesses and residents.
