Resignations from Tracy Eklund and Cindy Kelm were accepted at a special meeting of the Manawa School Board on Monday.
The resignations are effective at the end of this school year.
Kelm, who is the school counselor, has been with the district for the past 23 years.
“I have enjoyed working with the students, parents and staff of the School District of Manawa,” she said. “I will miss all the friends that I have made over the years.”
Eklund has been with the district since 1991 and is the band instructor.
“The resignations accepted and approved by the board represent many years of service to the district and to the students they have encountered throughout their tenure,” said Ed Dombrowski, district administrator. “The presence of these staff members will be missed but their influence shall live on through our graduates.”
