New Holstein handed the Waupaca girls’ soccer team a 2-1 nonconference loss May 20.
Karissa Perston put the Huskies on the board 23 minutes into the game, but Waupaca’s Lizzi Hanke tied the game six minutes later off an assist from Bailey Johnson.
New Holstein’s Daniel Brenner came up with the game-winning goal 13 minutes into the second half.
The Comets defeated Menasha 1-0 May 23 and wrapped up the regular season May 27 with an Eastern Valley Conference matchup at Appleton Xavier.
