Strategic planning begins June 9

The Manawa School Board recently voted to start working on a long-range plan.

The school district will work with facilitator Connie Abert from Waupaca County UW-Extension.

The district is looking for individuals who will represent the Manawa community’s parents, alumni, economic partners, and civic and faith leaders.

The total group will number about 25, including school board members, administrators, staff and student representatives.

Members will need to commit to four or five summer meetings.

These committee members will help generate a list of strengths and weaknesses throughout the district in order to frame questions and strategies aimed at improving the Manawa School District.
The first meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 9, as part of the Policy and Personnel Committee meeting.

All long-range planning meetings will be open to the public.
