Hubbard, Heidi Lee

– In loving Memory of our Precious, Beautiful Angel, Heidi Lee Hubbard. Heidi Hubbard passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on May 27th, 2014 at her home in Irvine, California.

She was born December 27th, 1985 in Stevens Point, WI. Heidi is survived by her father Ross Hubbard and her mother and stepfather, Cheryl and John Natoli. She will be missed by all, yet her memories will be cherished and live on. Heidi was college educated and loved life! She had an incredible gift of making people laugh and smile by listening and sharing stories. Her sense of humor was unique and hilarious and she was never afraid to do what she wanted to do. She was her mother’s fashion consultant, a cheerleader and volleyball player. She loved to garden and go to concerts and bake. Her favorite music was: Paramore, My Chemical Romance, all Classical music, Plain White T’s and Panic at the Disco. She was known for her famous Chocolate Cookie Crinkles as she would describe, “If a chocolate cookie married a brownie and they had a baby and you sprinkled it with powder sugar, that’s what it would taste like.” She loved to read and could tell you the “behind the scenes “, of any book or movie. She could quote lines from movies by heart and knew all artists both actors and musicians. Her favorite flowers were peonies, especially the blue ones. She had the gift to be able to talk to anyone about all kinds of subjects in which that person who she encountered was interested in. She had a thoughtful and caring heart and inspired all she encountered. Her favorite color was green and she loved Walt Disney’s princess “Sleeping Beauty” – in a blue dress, not the pink. She was happy, brave, helpful, strong, funny, humorous, beautiful, considerate, giving, kind, forgiving, and never gave up the fight. As she would say, “Cancer Sucks” while never letting others know how much pain and suffering she was going through, rather enjoying the precious moments she had with her friends and family. Heidi cared deeply for people and was always one to lend a helping hand to a friend or stranger in need.

A celebration of Heidi’s life will be held at Saint Joseph’s Parish in Appleton on Friday, June 13th, 2014 starting with a gathering at 4:30 p.m. with service starting at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow at Fox Banquets. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Michael’s Foundation, in honor of Heidi’s memory. http://ministryhealth.org/SMH/SaintMichaelsFoundation.nws
