Manawa superintendent to resign

After a closed session meeting Wednesday, June 11, the Manawa School Board announced the resignation of District Administrator Ed Dombrowski.

“Mr. Dombrowski has communicated his desire to resign effective June 30, 2014,” according to a statement issued by Manawa School Board President Kurt Kreklow.

Kreklow said the school district and Dombrowski have “reached tentative mutual agreement.”

“Official action will be approved at the next regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting pending the final agreement,” Kreklow said.

The school board’s next meeting is slated for 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 16.
