There is a beautiful picture on the front page of the Clintonville Tribune Gazette of the high school students who gave of their time and talent to paint playground equipment for the city.
During the citizen’s forum at the last city council meeting, one of the alderpersons hollered out, “Shame on you,” as a citizen was expressing his dissatisfaction with the actions of some members of the council.
I say “kudos” to these high school students for helping to make our city more attractive. I say “shame on you” to the six alderspersons who have managed to make our city a “laughing stock” with their actions.
It’s time to put your personal agendas aside and get back to doing the job you were elected to do — running the city. Enough already!
