• June 3 – A motorcyclist was injured in a one-unit accident at about 5 a.m. in the town of Waupaca.
Daniel Pire, 58, of Waupaca, was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 10 when a deer crossed onto the highway. The motorcycle struck the deer and Pire was ejected.
He suffered incapacitating injuries.
