On behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, I would like to take this opportunity to express my condolences to the communities of Waupaca County for their loss of Wayne Knutson, the county veterans service officer for Waupaca County.
Mr. Knutson was a great advocate for area veterans and was heavily involved with supporting veterans at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King.
He worked diligently with the veterans he met to ensure they were receiving all the benefits they deserved.
Please remember Mr. Knutson in your thoughts for all he did for the communities under his care.
