Trevalyn G. Hansen, age 87, formerly of Waupaca, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2014 at her home in Pewaukee.
Trevalyn was born in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca County on November 26, 1926, the daughter of the late Archie and Laura (Hamm) French. She married Donald E. Hansen on April 26, 1952 and they spent 47 wonderful years together raising a family, traveling, attending Brewers games, and enjoying their grandchildren, Shelly and Mike. Trev touched many lives as an Elementary school teacher from 1952 until retiring in 1976. She was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Genesee, WI and attended Crystal Lake United Methodist Church whenever she could.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Laura Hansen of Madison, WI and Mary (Mark) Hansen-Harrison of Waukesha, WI; granddaughter Michelle Harrison of Waukesha, WI, and many very special extended family members in the Waupaca and Oshkosh areas. Trevalyn was preceded in death by her husband Donald, grandson Michael, and her sister ArlaBelle Peterson.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 26th from noon to 1 p.m. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and the Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey S. Fletcher, officiating. Burial will follow in the Crystal Lake Cemetery, Town of Dayton. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
