The 46th annual Scandinavia Corn Roast is slated for Aug. 1-3 in Ellison Memorial Park, Scandinavia.
All weekend long there will be carnival rides and concessions by Christman Amusements, food and refreshments, and entertainment.
A Friday night fish fry is available.
Saturday’s events include a parade on Main Street and a truck pull.
Sunday events include an outdoor church service, ball games, farm & antique tractor pulls, the corn roast and the annual Pie & Ice Cream Social.
On Saturday and Sunday, the public can visit the historic Knoph Cabin and Jole Barbershop museums on the grounds.
Started in 2012, the Scandinavia Corn Roast Chainsaw Artist Wood Sculpting Competition will be held in conjunction with the Corn Roast Weekend. To participate, email email@example.com or call 715-498-0455.

The Scandinavia Booster Club invites groups and businesses to participate in the 46th Annual Corn Roast Parade on Saturday, Aug. 2.
This year’s parade theme is “Rainbow Connections.” From Judy Garland singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” in The Wizard of Oz movie to Kermit the Frog singing “Rainbow Connections” in the Muppet Movie to “Rainbow Stew” by Merle Haggard or Bobby Darin’s “There’s A Rainbow Round My Shoulder” or Lesley Gore’s “Sunshine, Lollipops And Rainbows,” colorful creativity will shine in Scandinavia.
The Scandinavia Corn Roast is “Simply Entertaining” as it features great entertainment for all ages. Musical entertainment includes such musical acts as Road Trip, Bobby Darren, Black Knight, Feedback Band and Vic Ferrari.
On Saturday and Sunday, KB Magical/Hatrick will provide magic shows entertaining to the young and young at heart.
Sunday is the only day corn is served.
Located at Ellison Memorial Park (110 Industrial Park Drive) in the village of Scandinavia, this is a well-rounded family event with something for everyone.
The Christman Amusement Rides close at 6 p.m. Sunday.
