Filling a bus with school supplies

Lamers Bus Lines and Calvary Apostolic Church Bus Ministry are collecting school supplies in Clintonville.

The school supplies donated to the “Let’s Fill The Bus” campaign will benefit children who attend public school, home school, alternative school, charter school or parochial school. 

The campaign started Wednesday, July 30 and will end Friday, Aug. 15. 

The campaign is collecting the following items: pencils, colored pencils, crayons, art boxes, flash cards (ABC, math, sight words), Sharpies, highlighters, alphabet magnets, folders with pockets, loose leaf paper, erasers, note cards, stickers, rulers, scissors, pens (red, black, and blue), glue/gluesticks, construction paper, easels, whiteboards, notebooks, spiral notebooks (wide, lined), reading books, charts (numbers, ABC) and maps. 

Drop off locations include Clintonville Chamber of Commerce, BMO Harris Bank, Walgreens, First State Bank, A to Z Signs, Fox Communities Credit Union and Shopko. 

Distribution will start, Sunday, Aug. 17, and run through Sunday, Aug. 31.
