Weyauwega man faces drug charges

Jamie L. Morgan, 33, Weyauwega, is charged with felony possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, illegal delivery of a prescription drug and illegal possession of a prescription drug.

On the night of April 27, Weyauwega Police Officer Adam Rogge clocked a black sports utility vehicle traveling 71 mph on U.S. Highway 10.

Rogge followed the vehicle into Weyauwega, where he made a traffic stop on Parker Street.

Noting an abundance of air fresheners in the vehicle, as well as Morgan’s nervous appearance, Rogge requested that the county send its K-9 unit to the scene.

Deputy Jon Loken arrived, and his dog alerted to the presence of drugs in Morgan’s vehicle.

Officers later reported finding nearly 70 pills, including Oxycodone, in the vehicle.
