Nancy K. Biffert of Waupaca, age 63, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at her home with her family.
She was born in Stoughton, WI on March 29, 1951 to the late Adam and Gladys (Lueck) Biffert. Nancy was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was a missionary in Senegal, West Africa, Portugal and Mozambique. Nancy went on many more mission trips to such places as Malaysia, Brazil and the Bahamas. She left Mozambique to come home to care for her mother. She will be sadly missed by her siblings: Paul (Colleen) Biffert of Aurora, IL; Jonathan (Paulette) Biffert of Ripon; Shirley (Jonathan) Naylor of Greenwich, CT; David (Roxanne) Biffert of Baraboo; Philip (Dawn) Biffert of Fond Du Lac; Sharon (Allen) Wick of Baraboo; Dawn (Lynn) Duncan of Axtell, TX, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister-in- law: Carol Ann Biffert.
The Funeral Service will be on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church. The visitation will be on Sunday at the Maple Crest Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Spencer Lake Memorial Park. At Nancy’s request please don’t send flowers, memorials are appreciated for mission work.
