Joan L. Polly, age 80, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 14th, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center.
She was born in Waupaca, WI on July 25, 1934, a daughter of the late Earl and Elsie (Poppe) Lillie. Joan married Arden Polly on June 16, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2005. She was a member of Parfreyville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her Children: Karen (Larry) Klein, Waupaca, Wisconsin; Debra (John) Haman, Waupaca, Wisconsin; Ross Polly, ND; Dawn (Mark) Anderson, Waupaca, WI; Daughter-in-law: Pam Polly, Waupaca, WI; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arden Polly; a son, Kurt Polly; one brother, George Lillie; and one sister, Beverly Hahn.
Funeral Services will be held at Parfreyville United Methodist Church, Waupaca, WI at 1 PM on Tuesday, August 19th, 2014, with Reverend Robert Blackburn officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date at Barton Cemetery Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th from 4 – 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
